Terrible rapping and annoying beats? Im afraid no one wins these battles. Eh, I thought the Gaga vs Palin one was pretty funny Yeah, I was prepared to hate this from the setup, but the rhymes are pretty funny and I liked the Hulk Hogan one and the John Lennon one. I was skeptical at first, but all the ones Ive seen are really funny. Damn, the Vader vs. Hitler one is really, really good. Id say the Hulk Hogan vs Kim Jong Il one was actually good. Funny impressions, some cracking lines. Some of the others were pretty terrible, IMHO. Seems like the jurys pretty split! I hate to say this, but Palin killed it. I was not expecting to enjoy that half as much as I did. Not every line is killer but theres enough goodness to keep me chuckling throughout. And my dad isnt crazy when he tells me he thinks Palin is hot? I was about to say that Hitler and Kim Jong-Il had the nicest skills, then Macho Man showed not just totalitarians are ill! Afraid to say I rather liked the Lincoln/Norris one. And, ummmm, Palin is hot. In a crazy way. She is the one people coined the term VPILF for. Damn, the Vader vs. Hitler one is really, really good. Well thats the baramui fighter trailer one I saw, and the best I think. I just thought that instead of a SLYT I might as well go for the MLYT post. Yet another edition of stuff that I thought was on the Blue, but apparently wasnt. Also, the Vader/Hitler one is epic. OK, I really enjoyed these. I dont understand why baramui fighter trailer bothered using celebrities/political figures as the mcs of these raps if they werent going to make interesting or funny caricatures of those figures. Especially the Lenon/OReilly one, two figures with very different personalities, rife for satire/parody, which the creators of these shorts dont seem to understand. And I had to sit through an advertisement for the Church of Latter Day Saints to watch the Palin one. SAMIZDATA IM PRETTY SURE IT WAS BIDEN. Ive baramui fighter trailer wasted more time on less entertaining links. Uneven in spots and some of the lines are pretty boilerplate making the celebrity angle kind of stupid. On the other hand, theres enough good, topical smack to put this in the win category. And Palin did kill Gaga, much to my chagrin. Darth and Abe were hilarious. I look forward to more of these. Those were really well done. Great costumes. Rapping about on par with Feminist Rapper previously, which I also enjoyed.
