Shrek the musical Im getting

Shrek the musical

Im getting really tired of the cracked disc issue and Im getting tired of Netflix playing the isolated incident response card. Its not isolated. Its widespread and widely reported. I had to send another disc back shrek the musical week. Yet Netflix continues to just brush the issue aside. Maybe this price increase is actually due to the delivery failure rate of Blu-Ray discs. Netflix must be going through a lot of catalog having to keep replacing damaged units. If we are going to get a dollar increase then I want to see the service improve. Use that money to despatch Blu-Ray discs in light cardboard sleeves. Not the cheap paper sleeves that have resulted in at least 15 damages discs this year. Maybe if the packaging was better, Netflix wouldnt continuously burn through copies of movies. I dont have a problem with it, as yes, there is a noticeable price difference in the formats. Lets the new Indiana Jones movie comes out next week, and Im fairly sure that that will be a big mover. Lets take a look at the prices on it: Those prices come from Amazon, and while Im sure Netflix doesnt pay retail, theres still going to be a price difference. Of course, Netflix isnt going to buy just one copy of the movie, so it adds up. Lets do a little math. Thats an 8 difference if you or I were to buy it, but lets say Netflix gets a huge discount and only faces a 1 price difference. Lets also assume shrek the musical they buy 200 copies to meet the demand: thats an extra 200 compared to the DVD edition. Oh, and theres 800 different Blu-Ray titles shrek the musical more coming out every week, so 200800 movies160, 000 to support this format. And youre going to gripe about a buck? Also, by charging an extra buck, Id assume that they would be able to buy extra copies of the movies in this format to cut down on the waits. I joined netflix because there was no additional charge to get bluray movies. Now that there is It causes one to reevaluate the other options available. If there is going to be a price increase there should be more blurays available and not have them buried underneath genre. That is not even mentioning the wait times. Also, to the anonymous above me who mentioned broken discs: I cant speak for everyone, but Ive been a member since May 200 In that time, Ive received a grand total of three or four broken discs. If youre getting fifteen per year, you might want to have a talk with your local PO. Why would you assume they would buy more copies? You cant assume you would be able to get a blu-ray disc faster than a month wait! If the difference in price was such an issue you shouldve had this 1 increase when you started offering Blu-Ray, it would have been easier to accept. And on more than one occasion Ive had trouble even getting the Blu-Ray version from Netflix to begin with. They always seem to be out. Its the little things that add up. Is 1 a big deal? No, not really. But it matters and Im started to feel like Im being nickel-ed and dimed by Netflix, I company Ive been a huge supporter of for many, many years. Should I expect an extra charge to watch movies on my Xbox 360 when that service launches later this year? If so, thatll be the last straw. I guess I can cope with 1 if it was just But I still cant watch stuff instantly on my Mac, or on Firefox. Blu-Ray availability has been scarce just adds up. As it is the top 4 movies in my queue are all Long WaitVery Long Wait, and have been that way for over 6 weeks and theyre all blu-ray. I havent seen a blu-ray movie home in about 2 months.
