Revenge of the nerds iii the next generation

Macdonald took the news in stride and has some ideas on how to save the show telling EW that there could be an Internet campaign to save the show, almost like they do with shows about witches and vampires and aliens from outer space. Maybe Ill call the network and ask them to bring it back. Ill say, Just bring it back. How much could it hurt television, really? He makes a valid point. After all, Desperate Housewives is still on the air, right? I m pretty sure that s actually hurting people. After recently co-writing the scripts for the highly anticipated 2012 DC Comics films The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel, writer David S. Goyer is staying in the comic book realm with a new project on cable. Deadline reports Goyer is in the midst of taking the Vertigo comic 100 Bullets to Showtime in the form of a new drama series. Written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Eduardo Risso, the comic is considered to be one of the best in the past decade with 100 issues published between 1999 and 200 Described as a dark noir-style story, the revenge of the nerds iii the next generation focuses on the staple moral question, What would you do if you were given the opportunity and the means to get away with murder, scot-free? More after the jump. The theatrical trailer for DreamWorks Puss in Boots has landed online and I have to admit that it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Featuring the vocal talents of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Amy Sedaris, the pic is set before the feline protagonist meets up with Shrek and centers on an adventure in which he must protect the Golden Eggs from falling into the wrong hands. While I m as skeptical as the next person about the necessity of spinoffs such as Puss, if its done in an entertaining and clever way I won t hold its inherently derivative nature against it. Based on what I ve seen and heard from the film thus far, it looks as if Puss in Boots could stand on its own fairly well. Hit the jump to check out the trailer for yourself. Directed by Chris Miller Shrek the Third , Puss in Boots hits 3D theaters later this year on November 4th. We have a couple of casting bits to bring you this afternoon. First up, Sarah Shahi USA s Fairly Legal has signed on to star alongside Sly Stallone in the Walter Hill adaptation of Matz and Colin Wilson s graphic novel Bullet to the Head. Variety reports that Shahi will make a turn as Stallone s daughter in the action pic. As a reminder, Warner Bros. untitled adaptation will feature Sly as a New Orleans hitman who joins forces with a Gotham cop in order to take out those responsible for the deaths of their respective partners. In addition to her work on Fairly Legal, the lovely Shahi can also be seen alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Pierce Brosnan in the comedy I Don t Know How She Does It due out later this year on September 16th. Next, Andrea Riseborough Never Let Me Go has been tapped to star alongside James McAvoy and Mark Strong in the crime thriller Welcome to the Punch. Written/directed by Eran Creevy Shifty, Welcome to the Punch centers on a criminal Strong and a detective McAvoy who become unlikely allies in the effort to expose a conspiracy. Along with Welcome to the Punch, Riseborough can also be seen in co-written helmed by Madonna which opens on December 9th. The last trailer we featured for the fourth season of AMC s praised drama series Breaking Bad was basically one big tease, but this new trailer that premiered during last night s season finale of The Killing really brings the thunder. It really looks like this is going to be one hell of a season, and Bryan Cranston can pretty much count on that Emmy nomination already. In addition to the new trailer, we also have a slew of official images from the new season so be sure to check out all of the above treats after the jump. The fourth season of Breaking Bad premieres on AMC on July 17th. Pedro Almodovar can usually be counted on for odd movies that feel outside of the box, but his latest film The Skin I Live In looks like it could reach previously unattained weirdo heights for the director. The film premiered at Cannes last month and is already set for a fall release stateside, so pre-release footage of the surreal Antonio Banderas-starred plastic surgery thriller has been gradually finding its way to the internet over the last few weeks. Today a new trailer has been released that promises even more vibrant cinematography and body-stocking clad fight scenes than ever before. Even viewed in this electric guitar-backed 60-second clip, The Skin I Live In doesnt look like anything the director has attempted before or like any other movie coming out in the next few months. Hit revenge of the nerds iii the next generation jump to this new trailer in all its kinky glory.
