Urban justice trailer

yeah I am soo not happy about this DVD I was thinking it would be funny cause of having brad pitt an george clooney kinda like one of the Oceans movies. but nope. Ok done with rant. I watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. I thought the acting was fantastic. Im a big fan of the Coen brothers, Raising Arizona, Fargo, and Oh Brother Where Art Thou? are 3 of my favorite movies. It did have some shocking moments but nothing out of the ordinary for the Coen brothers. I wouldnt recommend the movie for someone looking for a straight up comedy. I think I just dont get the Coen brothers work. We watched this movie the other night and when it was done my husband and I just looked at each other and said, ooooo k, that was, uh, interesting. Neither one of us found it very funny at all. It was interesting enough to keep watching to see what happened but I think my husband hit it on the head when he said, its like a train wreck, you just cant look away. We like dark comedies, like The Boondock Saints, Very Bad Things, movies that have lots of violence and bad language yet they make you laugh your ass off in a sick and twisted way. Burn After Reading wasnt a straight comedy, nor was it a black comedy, it was more like it was supposed to be a comedy b/c it was comprised of comedically odd characters. We found the violence kinda shocking and out of place b/c the previews really made the movie look like some sort of screwball comedy. It just didnt do anything for us. Ive been listening to the Lady in the Water soundtrack non-stop since it arrived no thanks to Wal-Marts wretched music selection in my mailbox.
